What is Beaver Ball?

A cartoon softball game at Lodgepole Park, the only regulation fastpitch diamond ever built by beavers. Nine beaver sluggers swing, pitch, stomp and tail-slap through quick three-inning games while Peg and Stu call the action from the press box. Earn Beaver Bucks, unlock gear in the Locker, build your own team, finish daily challenges and climb the Hall of Fame.

The app is free for iPhone and iPad, made for the whole family.
The website, beaverball.app, plays in any modern browser.

Restoring purchases

Purchases belong to your Apple ID, not to the device. On a new or reset device, sign in to the App Store with the same Apple ID, open the game, tap the gear for Settings, then Restore Purchases. If something you bought still doesn't show up, email us with the date of the purchase (it's on your Apple receipt email). For refunds, Apple handles those at reportaproblem.apple.com.

On Android, purchases belong to your Google account the same way: sign in to Google Play with that account, then Settings, Restore Purchases. Google handles refunds at play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory.

Your save

Apps: sign in to Game Center and your progress is kept in Game Center (iCloud) as well as on the device, so it comes with you to a new iPhone or iPad. Without Game Center it's saved on this device only.
Android apps: your save is on the phone and backed up online, and Google's own backup brings it back after a reinstall. To move it to a new phone (or to an iPhone or a browser), open Achievements, then Your save, copy your recovery code, and enter it there.
Website: your save lives in your browser and is backed up online. To move it to another browser, open Achievements, then Your save, copy your recovery code, and enter it in the other browser.

Common fixes

No sound

Check that Sound is On in Settings (the gear), turn the volume up, then tap anywhere in the game once: sound starts on your first tap. It plays even with the silent switch on.

It's slow or choppy

The game picks its graphics quality for your device. Close other apps, or restart the game. On the website, an up-to-date Safari, Chrome or Edge works best.

Achievements or leaderboards aren't updating

Make sure you're signed in to Game Center (Settings app › Game Center). Scores post at the end of each game.

For parents

What kids see: Beaver Ball only contains the family-friendly script. The slapstick is cartoon: tail slaps, belly flops and dogpiles, nobody gets hurt.
No chat and no personal info. Players can't talk to each other or type anything other players see. We don't collect names, emails, ages or locations. See our Privacy Policy.
Purchases and links need a grown-up. Anything that costs money, and any link out of the app, is behind a parental gate first. You can also turn off in-app purchases entirely in Settings › Screen Time › Content & Privacy Restrictions › iTunes & App Store Purchases.
No ads. Beaver Ball never shows ads. Optional in-app purchases sit behind a parental gate.

Beaver Football

7-on-7 tail-flag football at Mudflat Field with the beavers of Beaver Ball. A play ends when a defender pulls the flag off the ball carrier's tail: nobody gets tackled. Free for iPhone and iPad, with no ads.

How to play: tap Kick off!, or New here? Learn to play for a tutorial that waits for you at every step. The big button hikes, throws to the receiver the gold arrow points at (hold it for a harder throw) and, on defense, pulls the flag. How to play in the menu (the pause button) runs the tutorial again.

Beaver Basketball

Cartoon hoops in the Lodge Gym with the beavers of Beaver Ball: 3-on-3 or 5-on-5, half court or full court, and the Tail Slam. Free for iPhone and iPad, with no ads.

How to play: tap Quick Game, then Tip off! The one button passes when you tap it and shoots when you hold it (let go on the green); on defense, tap to swipe or jump and hold to guard. Tutorial on the home screen is a shooting lesson with Peg and Stu.

Our five-a-side soccer game at Reedbank Pitch, across the pond from Lodgepole Park. Free for iPhone and iPad, with no ads.

How to play: tap Kick off! Move with the thumb stick; with the ball, tap the big button to pass and hold it to shoot (let go in the green); without it, tap to tackle and hold to Belly Slide. The Clinic on the home screen has short lessons from Peg and Stu.

Beaver Pickleball

Our pickleball game at the Lakeside Courts, out over Lodgepole Pond: singles and doubles with the stars of Beaver Ball. Free for iPhone and iPad, with no ads.

How to play: tap Play. Move with the thumb stick; tap the big button for a soft shot and hold it for a drive, aiming with the stick as you let go; swipe up from the button for a lob. Pickleball School on the start card has 28 short lessons with Coach Dilly and Pepper.

Deleting your account and data

To delete your Beaver Ball account (made by You Found Waldo LLC): your save, your Hall of Fame scores and everything else tied to them, open Settings › Your account › Delete my account in the app, on iPhone, iPad or Android, or on the website (in the app a grown-up confirms it). It's deleted right away.

Already deleted the app? Email waldo@youfoundwaldo.com with the subject "Delete my Beaver Ball account" and your recovery code or your Hall of Fame name, and we'll delete the same things within 30 days and write back when it's done. Deleting the app only removes its save from that device; Game Center data is managed by Apple. Details, including the one scrambled id we keep for 30 days, are in the Privacy Policy.
